	Waste Collection Management To effectively manage waste management, a RFID transponder is placed on each residential bin. During collection, the chip number is read and associated with its GPS location. All the information is transmitted to servers, where it is processed and stored in a database.

Man Down Detection System Connected to our alarm system, the accident detection system allows monitoring workers operating in potentially hazardous environments. The system analyzes the movement and position of the person wearing the device in real-time, and carries out a series of actions in the case there is no movement for a certain period of time.

	Alarm System for Mobile Units Specially designed for sites that are difficult to monitor, this alarm system allows monitoring of mobile units or sites that have no infrastructure. As it uses a cellular network to communicate, this system doesn’t need a telephone line to send alerts; everything is done via SMS. With this system developed by Watelle Solutions, it is much less expensive to equip each air conditioning unit with an efficient energy management system. Each unit is powered on the same circuit as the air conditioning unit, regardless of voltage. With the wireless mesh network, each unit can be controlled individually.

	Universal Power System Developed for energy management systems, this power supply can feed on different voltages, such as 24V, 110V, 220V, 240V or 347V, without having to change anything on the circuit. In addition, this circuit allows a thermostat to be powered even if it is controlling a heating unit.

Modification of Heated Skate Blades To increase performance, participants of Red Bull Crashed Ice wanted heated skate blades. However, those available on the market didn’t meet their needs. We analyzed the circuit and made changes in collaboration with the manufacturer to adjust the blades to the participants’ needs.
