Energy Management System for Hotel Rooms

There are many of reasons for trying to reduce energy consumption. For hotel owners, heating or cooling a room when it is vacant is a source of costs that are both unnecessary and wasteful. However, controlling each heating / cooling unit is a major expense and a significant portion of this cost is derived from installing wiring. Watelle Solutions has developed an energy management system for one of its clients that doesn’t require installing wires. All commands are transmitted by radio frequency.

UNIVERSAL POWER
No matter the brand or type of heating unit, control circuits can be powered by 24V, 120V, 208V, 240V and even 347V.

MESH NETWORK:
The radio circuit operates with a mesh. If the controller is too far to directly communicate with the main circuit, it will communicate its status to one that is closer, which will then be retransmitted to the main circuit.

MAIN CIRCUIT:
The main circuit is responsible for transmitting commands between an Ethernet network and a wireless network. In the case of large area, several main circuits can coexist, each managing portions of the controllers.
